IN A QUICK CALL

At StudioBlended we offer competitive packages for impact that reduce stress and help you focus your attention on your thesis. Rather than planning meetings on the go, you enter a planned learning journey towards a successful end product: the thesis.

What it is
We estimate the guidance you need in order to realise the desired output/outcome, and create a personalised package for impact. This gives you an honest indication of the cost at the start, with no nasty surprises towards your deadline.

Our remote availability for brief questions in between our weekly ZOOM call until your deadline, is part of the package. We believe this availability for any questions you may have can make or break your success. You can reach out via WhatsApp, email, or a call.

Quotation
The package for impact quotation includes:
- the desired outcome
- the desired output
- a plan of our approach, with times and dates - with transparency about the required time dedication of the advisor/mentor and resources from our StudiOpedia
- an indication of the total thesis supervision hours required

When you agree to a quotation, we both commit to the proposed schedule.

On rare occasions, when changes to output or outcome require more time, we will agree on additional hours. If you should need a longer call in between our weekly ZOOM, we will first try to find that time within the quotation.

How we draft a formal quotation: onboarding
To establish a tailor-made quotation for a package for impact, we set up an onboarding meeting with you to get to know each other.

Prior to our introductory meeting, we ask you to send us literally everything you have so far, so that we can get a crystal-clear understanding of the status of your work. This may include:
- your final draft
- any feedback you received in written form (i.e. by your first and second reader, by a supervisor, in documents or emails etc).
- guidelines from your institution
- rubrics if you have any
- possibly a successful thesis by a fellow student (this helps us better understand your institution’s requirements)
- any other material

In our introductory meeting, you can tell us more about:
- what’s going on
- what you’re trying to do
- what you’re struggling with (see My struggle)
- your study habits
- your relationship with your current supervisor at your institution and his/her availability
- whatever else is important for us to know

Together we set your ambition for a grade, being realistic considering the deadline.

Following this onboarding call, we draft a quotation for you based on a bespoke approach . This is a useful document to share with your parents, should they be involved.

Where to purchase the hours
Once you agree to the quotation, you can then purchase the thesis guidance hours at your respective thesis bureau. Make sure you buy thesis supervision hours (not just support hours), and ensure that you buy sufficient time before we start.

The price per hour via the thesis bureau is exempt from VAT (0% VAT).

Buying hours in batches
You don’t have to buy all the hours of a package in one go. If you prefer you can purchase bundles of 9 hours at a time for example. The quotation is our honest estimate of the total hours you will need.

Terms and conditions
Our senior thesis advisors expect to have an equal partner relationship with you, whereby client and advisor work together, combining the advisor’s specialist knowledge with relevant knowledge about the content, and the student’s access to the relevant institution.

Your thesis supervisor will take the lead and guide you. You are expected to deliver your weekly assignment on time. Shared responsibility and joint decision-making for the sake of ownership results in the success and relevance of the identified outcomes and outputs.

Please note that we cannot give any guarantee you will pass your thesis or what your end grade will be, as this depends on the quality, attention, time and ability you put in. This is clearly explained in the contract you sign with the thesis bureau.

We can however guarantee our undivided attention, and ensure minimal risk and maximum chances for your thesis submission.
